Oh my, I haven’t been here for a long time. I’ve been missing out! Chambar on Beatty at the edge of Chinatown and Gastown, is a place of great food and atmosphere for your evening out! Great art too!
We shared the beef carpaccio, which was simple and tasty, and so tender with crispy shallots, garlic chips and cilantro. Highly recommend it. Next, saffron infused Bouillabaisse with ricotta ravioli. Mmmmm.
And I immensely enjoyed the wine suggestion of Robert Stelmachuk, the sommelier (thanks Robert!)- Chateau Pech-Celeyram, Predominate Grenache Blanc. It was like drinking sunshine as he said!
I would suggest this is one of the nicer restaurants in town.
