An easy place to grab lunch or dinner on your own, is The Noodle Box on West 4th. A locals favorite with stir frys, soups, satays and rice dishes with flavours from SE Asia.
Recently, at the table there was Thai Chow Mein,, well balanced spice at medium, combo of noodles and veg with cilantro(I am told)! I enjoyed Wonton wrapped prawns – there was six with spicy sweet sauce. And my lunch was a light Malay style fried rice which was decent at medium with chicken, prawns, basil and sprouts on top. Full bowls for $10-$13, makes it a pretty good deal.
We also noticed their Oceanwise sticker in the window
